SUMMARY:
HRBP (KZN; East London and Port Elizabeth)

POSITION INFO:

 

 

The position will be based in Umhlanga. Although based in Umhlanga, the person will be responsible for the businesses in the Kwa Zulu Natal Province, East London and Port Elizabeth area. The willingness to travel extensively is therefore a pre-requisite for this position.

As a partner, the HRBP aligns business objectives with management and employees in designated business units. This role is accountable for working directly with leaders to proactively address the people implications of the current and future needs of the business.

 

Output/Core Tasks (The Key Responsibilities will be):

  • Implementing the Human Capital strategy within the different business units
  • Partnering with line managers to identify needs and opportunities to support the achievement of business objectives on all aspects through the Employee Life-cycle
  • Provide guidance to line management on strategic and HR issues
  • Understanding the talent needs of the business and pro-actively working to address the needs of the business
  • Responsible for the full recruiting cycle i.e. sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and placement of successful candidates
  • Provides proactive performance management guidance to line managers (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Analyse HR data and determine trends

 


Role Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should have:

 A relevant HR degree/diploma

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Consultant
  • Experience in the Insurance Industry
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel
