JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is the successful execution of the Human Resources function within the organisation, with a specific focus on recruitment and selection, appointment and induction of the correct candidates, the administration of COID, Employee Benefits, and the exit administration of employees. You will also be responsible to assist with Learning and Development administration and the execution of the weekly and/ or monthly payroll administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the recruitment and selection of the correct candidates for vacancies.
  • Arrange and execute induction of new employees.
  • Monitor and submit Injury on Duty Administration (COID).
  • Assist with all enquiries regarding Employee Benefits and the execution thereof.
  • Execute all administration regarding the exit of employees.
  • Assist and execute tasks related to weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Assist and execute tasks related to Learning and Development Administration.
  • Assist with all HR and Learning and Development related enquiries.
  • Compile reports regarding responsibility areas.
  • Assist with HR audits as and when necessary.
  • Assist with and give guidance regarding Employee Engagement (Team Talks).
  • Facilitation of training events related to HR responsibilities.
Key Competencies:

Education and Experience
  • B degree in Human Resources
  • Qualification in Learning and Development will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years in an HR Generalist role
  • Proven experience with Payroll
  • Experience in Learning and Development
  • Advanced computer literacy
