HR qualification required | 2–3 years’ experience in hotel HR essential | Proficient in MS Office & HR systems | Fluent in English | SA citizenship required

Hospitality Hire SA is recruiting on behalf of a reputable corporate hotel group in Pretoria. We’re seeking a confident and capable Human Resources Officer to support the full HR function in a busy, hospitality-focused environment.
This is the ideal role for someone who is solutions-driven, comfortable with labour compliance, and passionate about supporting staff and management in a positive and proactive way.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄
As the HR Officer, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day HR administration and support, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, payroll inputs, and employee relations. You’ll ensure compliance with labour legislation while helping create a supportive, well-functioning workplace.

POSITION INFO:
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Maintain up-to-date and confidential employee records
• Process monthly payroll inputs and leave administration
• Support employee relations and disciplinary procedures
• Assist managers with HR policies and general support
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws

• HR qualification
• 2–3 years’ experience in a similar HR Officer role - hospitality industry experience essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Valid South African ID number required
