Service Engineer – Hydro Location: International travel required

We’re looking for a self-sufficient, hands-on Service Engineer to provide technical expertise and customer support in the hydroelectric power industry. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our hydro plants run smoothly — from installation and commissioning to ongoing service, maintenance, and customer support.

What You’ll Do

Act as a product & process specialist for hydro plant equipment.
Provide immediate technical support to customers.
Oversee application development, product design, and new product introductions.
Build and maintain strong customer, supplier, and vendor relationships.
Conduct on-site assessments, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Manage projects and contribute to sales opportunities when required.
Organize transfer meetings with sales, project management, and customers.
Participate in company committees or initiatives as needed.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
5+ years’ experience with hydro plant machinery.
Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background.

What Sets You Apart

Master’s degree or MBA (advantageous).
Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing / Quality Assurance.
Experience providing technical service directly to customers.
Expertise in manufacturing, field service, and commissioning.
Knowledge of on-site machining (advantage).
