SUMMARY:
Recruiting an ICT Manager for a national organisation (Cape Town, office-based role). Required: 3–5 years infra and network management, and leading hybrid Cloud and SDWAN innovation.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in a related IT field (advantageous)
Certification in MCSE, CompTIA Network, Security, and/or Azure & AWS (advantageous)

Requirements:

3 to 5 years’ experience in a Systems Engineer / Network Engineer role
3 to 5 years’ experience in an ICT management role
Extensive experience with:
- Windows Server environments and Windows OS troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office support
- Network setup including VLAN, routing, monitoring, and administration
- SDWAN configurations and network performance optimization
- Backup and recovery systems
- Windows and Network Management (AD, DHCP, DNS, and NPS)
Intermediate to advanced networking knowledge
Exposure to cloud-based hosting and backup services
Experience with enterprise-grade networking solutions (e.g. Fortinet)
Knowledge of ISO 27001 cybersecurity frameworks (advantageous)
Experience in ICT procurement, and inventory management (advantageous)
Leading ICT transformation/innovation projects (advantageous)
Proficiency in project management principles

Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):

Manage, monitor, and optimize ICT systems and network infrastructure
Implement and support IT applications and systems for business efficiency
Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Manager on cybersecurity practices
Lead ICT innovation projects to ensure scalable and reliable systems
Maintain SDWAN network performance, including configuration and troubleshooting
Oversee day-to-day ICT support, maintenance, and administration
Handle ICT procurement and asset management
Deliver user support, documentation, and team guidance
