SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced ICT Manager to oversee and optimize our IT infrastructure, network systems, and technology operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in systems and network engineering, combined with proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and driving innovation. This is a permanent role based in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Certifications (Advantageous):

Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Certifications: MCSE, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Azure, or AWS

Experience:

3–5 years in a Systems Engineer / Network Engineer role
3–5 years in an IT management role
Strong background in managing multi-site IT infrastructure & networks

Technical Expertise:

Network setup & administration (VLAN, advanced routing, monitoring)
Microsoft Office support & Windows OS troubleshooting
Backup & recovery systems setup and maintenance
Windows Server environments (AD, DHCP, DNS, NPS management)
Hybrid cloud & enterprise networking (Fortinet, SD-WAN configurations)
Cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001 knowledge advantageous)
ICT procurement, asset & inventory management
Project management principles

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, and optimize ICT systems & network infrastructure for maximum availability
Plan, implement, and maintain IT business applications while ensuring security best practices
Oversee daily ICT operations, including support, maintenance, and administrative tasks
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SD-WAN for optimal performance and security
Collaborate with Cybersecurity Manager on threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
Drive ICT innovation to enhance reliability and scalability across all sites
