SUMMARY:
We're looking for an IFRS Reporting Specialist to take ownership of the investment asset reporting process across life insurance and asset management entities. This role is key in ensuring compliance with IFRS, FSCA, and internal reporting standards — with a focus on fund consolidations and the full suite of financial instruments, rather than complex group consolidations.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Apply IFRS 7 and IFRS 10 to investment and fund structures
Perform fund consolidations and ensure correct classification and disclosures
Analyse, validate, and enrich large volumes of financial instrument data
Support internal stakeholders with meaningful insights and reporting outputs
Ensure regulatory submissions (e.g., FSCA reporting) are timely and accurate
Innovate and improve processes and systems related to investment reporting
Provide technical input on financial instruments, including bonds, equities, derivatives, etc.

Who We’re Looking For:

CA(SA) or Non-CA with strong IFRS technical expertise
5+ years’ experience in financial reporting within Life Insurance or Asset Management
Proven expertise in IFRS 7 and IFRS 10, specifically related to investment assets and fund consolidations
Solid understanding of financial instruments – both simple and complex
A proactive mindset with a passion for improving reporting quality and processes
Confident working with large data sets and cross-functional teams
