SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking an ILS Engineer to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: ILS Engineer (Integrated Logistics Support (ILS))
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: 1 - 10 years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support or a similar engineering support role.
Languages: Fluent in Afrikaans.

Beneficial requirements:

Skills:

Strong knowledge of ILS principles, maintenance planning, and system life cycle management.
Proficient in logistics and engineering software (e.g., SAP, AutoCAD).
Ability to analyze and resolve complex logistical challenges.

Personal Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and manage Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans for systems.

Create maintenance strategies to optimize system performance and reduce downtime.

Manage documentation, including maintenance schedules and spare parts requirements.
