SUMMARY:
Our client is looking to employ an experienced Import manager, based in Cape Town CBD. You will be responsible for managing a large Supply chain team who is ultimately responsible for the importing of stock.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and experience:

A completed degree in either Logistic or Supply chain but first prize will be an Industrial Engineer
You must have a proven track record of managing international logistics and Supply chain.
Have an in-depth knowledge of import documentation and processes
A minimum of 5 years staff management essential.

Key responsibilities / accountabilities:

Some of your duties will include managing the day-to-day operations of a Supply chain team ensuring that deliveries are happening in line with signed SLA between International suppliers and your company. Process optimization, monthly financial performance, supplier performance and developing international supply chain processes.
