INTERNAL SALES

SUMMARY:
Urgently seeking an Internal Sales person for our Cape Town branch (Parow Industrial).

POSITION INFO:

To perform sales duties in the sales office and respond to incoming sales enquiries. Primary contact for all incoming calls, alternating with other internal sales management of the switch board. To act as a dedicated resource for sales and stock management. Market new product lines to new sectors of the market telephonically and via mail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain acceptable GP margin and turnover

• Maintain an acceptable quote to order conversion rate

• Ensure expected customer service levels are met

• Grow existing customer accounts

• Identify potential customers, specifically focusing on new customers that would be interested in new product lines

• Also selling entire range of products on offer

• Adhering to administration, SHEQ and Environmental requirements

• Linking card/eft sales to order and compiling daily card/eft sales report

• Ordering of stock

Minimum Requirements

• Any sales experience

• Able to make basic weight and volume calculations

• Reading, writing and basic MS Office literacy

• Able to negotiate telephonically

• Able to speak English and Afrikaans

• Any previous experience working with ERP systems would be advantageous
