INVENTORY PLANNER / BUYER (MONTAGUE GARDENS, CAPE TOWN)

SUMMARY:
An international FMCG company is seeking to employ a suitably skilled Inventory Planner / Buyer in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-years FMCG working experience within a purchasing planning role, preferably within foods
• Minimum grade 12 with a tertiary qualification in purchasing, and/or inventory management. A B-Com degree will be an advantage
• Previous working experience on an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Previous working experience on a demand forecasting and inventory management tool, preferable Net stock
• Previous exposure and good understanding of material planning
• Advance Excel, intermediate power point
• Able to understand and calculate inventory and financial ratios
• Must be able to work under pressure and balance the needs of different stakeholders internal and external to the company
