JOB SUMMARY:
Leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Cape Town is looking for a IR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant HR experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Labour legislation (BCEA/ LRA/ B-BBEE, etc).
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with department Managers and leads end-to-end recruitment process for bulk recruitment projects as well as general recruitment.
  • Ensure that all placements made are in line with the company’s workforce plan requirements.
  • Ensure bulk recruitment requests are managed timeously and timelines are met.
  • Ability to lead multiple bulk recruitment projects across various departments.
  • Partners with manager to understand recruitment needs in line with business requirements.
  • Develops monthly recruitment metrics to show progress on placements made on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Partners with line managers to lead appointment discussions not inline with EE targets as set out by the company.
  • Drive Employment Equity during recruitment to ensure departmental EE ratio aligns to EE target for the business.
  • Assist managers with coordinating departmental recruitment plans as per the recruitment policy, employment equity strategy, headcount and recruitment budget.
  • Oversees Onboarding Coordination process to ensure that all candidates have a seamless on boarding experience.
  • Responsible for conducting onboarding and exit interviews.
  • Responsible for managing the employee engagement survey and generating monthly metrics to show employ satisfaction rate.
  • Ensure onboarding tracker is update and distributed to respective stakeholders within the organization.
  • Manage all employee relations (IR) incidences which occur within organisation.
  • Be the main point of contact for all IR related issues for all people managers.
  • Act as company rep when required, represent the company at CCMA.
  • Train and empower people managers to make decisions and issue disciplinary action according to the Disciplinary Code.
  • Coordinate the B-BBEE verification process logistics and ensure audit documents are correct on file and submitted to the auditors.
  • Follow up and monitor progress of implementation of interventions as per the Annual Training Plan and IDP’s.
