SUMMARY:
The ISO Documents Controller and SHE Officer is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and supporting all health, safety, environmental, and document control functions within the business. The role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness, continuous improvement, and the effective management of quality and safety documentation.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and procedures.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit compliance.
Monitor, track, and close out non-conformances and corrective actions.
Facilitate management review meetings and quality performance reporting.
Maintain SHE documentation, records, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate inductions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Support incident reporting, risk assessments, inspections, and safety committee activities.
Manage document control processes, including material certificates, data books, weld maps, paint maps, and quality records.
Ensure all quality, safety, and operational documentation remains accurate, current, and compliant.

Requirements:

Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience within the steel manufacturing industry.
ISO 9001:2015 Qualification/Certification.
Internal Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2015.
Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2015.
Quality Assurance experience.
Health & Safety qualification (NOSA, SAMTRAC, or equivalent).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and report-writing ability.
Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
