SUMMARY:
Our IT Client is looking for an ISP Systems Support Administrator based in Midrand

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience as a Systems Support Administrator
Solid working knowledge of Cambium, Mikrotik and Ubiquiti equipment is essential
Understanding BGP, OSPF, and network routing will also be an advantage.
Prepared to travel when necessary
Provide technical systems support to all clients by managing the existing national networks
Provide technical systems support for new highsite/s and end-user installations and network infrastructure growth
Maintenance and management of network hardware infrastructure, firmware upgrades, wireless link frequency management
Managing ticket system and ensuring tickets are actioned and closed timeously
Liaising with upstream providers in event of any network failure or outage
Ensuring clients are always informed as to the status of networks
Proactively inform clients when network utilization is near capacity
Provide support when required in the event of an outage/failure even after business hours.
Updating of network monitoring systems and technical administration
After-hours/weekend remote support on Adhoc roster basis
