Introduction

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Automation and Manual Tester to join a well-established banking environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong testing background, hands-on automation experience, and prior exposure to major South African banking institutions. This is an office-based role in Randburg with a planned start date of February 2026.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using test management tools
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automation frameworks and scripts
Ensure testing aligns with banking standards, compliance, and best practices
Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities
Support UAT phases and provide test sign-off where required

Requirements

ISTQB Certification (mandatory)
Proven experience in both manual and automation testing
Banking experience is essential, preferably with any Major South African Bank.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
