Overview:

Our client is a leading investment management business, with local and international operations.

Responsibilities:

Support to the asset management revenue and management fee system as the application platform, including user assistance
Collating and documenting requirements on new portfolios/clients added
Impact assessment of new additions
Provide development requirements to developer on system enhancements and scheduler changes
Data mapping and XML editing
Monitoring of monthly fee data import and export process
Checking the invoicing and bank payments done on the system
System administration and configuration
Logging of requests with vendor and vendor management on their tasks
Data queries and data checks on source systems
Handling production critical systems
Working under production critical SLAs
Change management on enhancements and updates to the system
Understanding of deployment topologies and system communications
Server performance monitoring
Troubleshoots/triaging production issues affecting Application platforms as needed, taking appropriate corrective actions
Conducts preventative maintenance to ensure capacity, scaling, security and availability of Application platforms

Requirements:

IT or Business degree (National Diploma/B.Com/B.Tech Information Systems) and/or Business Analysis diploma
Minimum of 3 years Business or System Support experience within a Financial Institution (Asset Management company preferable)
SQL database experience
Revenue and management fee system experience would be beneficial
Sound knowledge of financial markets and instruments
Test analyst capabilities is advantageous
