In this role, you’ll play a key part in safeguarding our systems, data, and technology landscape. As an IT Auditor, you’ll help ensure our operations remain secure, efficient, and compliant by evaluating risks, strengthening controls, and supporting best-practice governance.

Your work will directly contribute to smarter decision-making and stronger organisational resilience.

Duties:

• Performing independent IT risk assessments to identify priority areas
• Conducting IT audits aligned to the risk-based audit plan, including:
• System implementation reviews
• Change management, BCP/DR, and information security evaluations
• Testing IT general and application controls
• Systems development and application reviews
• IT security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Cloud governance and maturity reviews
• Project assurance assessments
• Providing guidance on IT risk, security, applications, and infrastructure
• Preparing balanced, evidence-based audit reports that influence key stakeholders

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Security, or a related field
• CISA / CRISC / CISM / EH

• 4+ years’ IT auditing experience
• Strong understanding of IT risk, controls and audit methodologies
• Broad knowledge across IT domains such as development, databases, operating systems, networks, and security
• Cybersecurity experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
