JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Conduct audits in accordance with approved Internal Audit methodology.
• Prepare process analysis documentation.
• Read business understanding documents, flow charts, IT strategies and architecture.
• Research and understand best practices pertaining to IT processes and controls.
• Develop and utilise a sound understanding of IT processes, risks and controls including relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identification of process, information and control gaps and seek additional information if necessary.
• Ensure that information generated is accurate, valid and comprehensive prior to review and/or reporting. 

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Matric
• Bcom IT /BSc IT degree
• Completed CISA or CISM certification will be advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• 2-4 years related audit experience, of which a minimum of 2 years is in IT audit
• Experience in Financial services or Insurance industry will be advantageous
