IT Contracts Manager / Legal Counsel

Cape Town

12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal

The IT Contracts Manager will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of contracts and contract structures, drafting and reviewing of contracts and legal documents as well as the provisioning of legal advisory services concerning the procurement of IT goods and services.

Essential:

LLB
5 years’ experience (excluding articles), advocate or in-house legal counsel Professional Registration / Membership
Admitted attorney or advocate
Certificate of Good Conduct from the Law Society
Extensive experience in contract negotiation and drafting; and specifically, experience having worked with many or focused on IT Contracts
Regulatory, Retail or financial services industry experience
