The Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT Governance Contracts Manager a 6-month fixed term contract for Pretoria.

 

Purpose of the role:

To ensure that comprehensive risk management programs are designed and implemented to identify risk exposures at a process level and to perform a risk assessment to determine the residual risk.

Monitor the implementation of the end-to-end IT governance, risk and compliance in relation to the IT department.

Ensure all IT department administration is complete, tracked and up to date.

Minimum educational level:                                                      

  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology and/or IT Risk Management
  • Honourâ??s degree (Advantageous)
  • CISA, CRISC, CISM or CISSP will be an added advantage

 

We require the following work experience:

  • A minimum of 3 â?? 5 years of risk experience in GRC within a large corporate environment
  • IT industry security certification (CISA, CISSP, CRISC or GIAC) or equivalent working experience
  • Good information security knowledge across several security domains

 

Skills and Experience:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Information Security/ IT Governance:

  • Implement the information security (IS) strategy and proactively identify cyber-security threats
  • Enable the implementation of the information security and tech governance strategy for the group
  • Support the development of all information security governance models with supporting documents e.g. policies, processes, standards and guidelines
  • Provide input to consultations with relevant stakeholders across the group on development, implementation and enforcement on all aspects of IS governance (policies, standards etc.)
  • Provide input to the development of threat models for all critical technologies (application and supporting infrastructure)
  • Own the GRC for the ERP landscape

Operational Delivery:

  • Monitor and implement end-to-end governance, risk and compliance across the ERP landscape
  • Provide input to the rules for the effective management of IT Governance and information security controls in the IT Operations organization and the implementation thereof
  • Inform the rules and or configuration and policy settings that should apply on Security controls based on incidents and threat intelligence
  • Coordination of external vulnerability remediation - this includes determining the scan lists with the line of business and IT teams, reviewing results of the foot-printing exercise and coordination of remediation efforts with the respective IT support teams
  • To take responsibility for IT department contracts
  • To take responsibility for IT Governance
  • To take responsibility for IT department Audit Findings
  • To manage the IT department learnership program via the monitoring of learner progress including providing feedback at quarterly review board meetings held
  • To manage the BIIS training program via the monitoring of all scheduled training across the team and provide feedback quarterly
  • To help manage the IT department operational expenditure
  • To orchestrate the management of the IT department Capital Expenditure in conjunction with the other portfolio managers
  • To manage Capital expenditure for projects within the Governance and Compliance portfolio
  • To facilitate and manage the development of policies, procedures, and standards
  • To implement Governance Structures for the IT department
  • To implement an Approval Framework for the IT department
  • To manage operational financial management activities for the IT department (Service Costing and charging, budgeting and reporting)
  • To do contracts management including updating of IT department procurement contracts adding to SAP DMS to ensure timeous contracts management and renewal
  • To ensure that all BIIS Polices procedures are compiled catalogued
