POSITION INFO:

Our Client is a leading global law firm with a distinctive market. Their ''''one team'''' global approach has 40 offices in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. They have a well-established presence in the world''''s major financial and commercial markets to provide excellent business-oriented advice to clients both locally and internationally.

They are currently seeking to URGENTLY appoint 2 highly dynamic and competent IT Infrastructure Engineers Patching for their SA offices based in Sandton, Johannesburg

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Report into the Senior IT Operations Manager
• Ensure global patching solutions across the Company are performing to expected levels, keeping all devices compliant to standards.
• Ensure global patching solutions, along with other team members meet and  comply with Security and Industry best practices.
• Look for continual improvement across the patching estate, while remaining vigilant of impact to end users.
• Horizon scan new technologies and opportunities to automate or improve the patching deployment effectiveness
• Production of weekly and monthly KPI’s and patching coverage, success and failures metrics
• Help document patching solutions across Company
• Responsible for resolving any operational patching related incidents
• Work with CISO organization on all vulnerabilities, with an emphasis on day zero patching.
• Other duties as assigned.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• Highly knowledgeable in SCCM / Endpoint Manager with relevant qualifications
• Highly knowledgeable of Windows operating systems with relevant qualifications
• Knowledge of other leading endpoint patching solutions
• Knowledge of automation systems specifically around endpoint management
• Previous experience in enterprise environment advantageous
• Knowledge of industry standard patching processes is required
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Solar Winds would be advantageous. Excellent Time management and strong collaboration skills.
