SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an IT Infrastructure Service Specialist to be based in Witbank on a contract until Dec 2021.

POSITION INFO:

Required experience :

The specific IM field, controls and risk mitigation
Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish
Effective team management to ensure resource utilization across the project
Safety Knowledge in relation to safety practices with a deep understanding of the importance of safety

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control all priority calls (Incident Management) for IT
Ensure IT Services are delivered according to standard operating procedures and/or agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Focus on IT customer service, troubleshooting and immediate time-bound response for the IT users
Escalate complex queries to the relevant Regional Support Experts for IIT
Monitor the performance, cost, and demand within the business economic context and approved budgets on IT
Identify service improvement opportunities from data trend analysis and IT customer input/need
Prepare and distribute IT Monthly performance and SLA reports
Monitor and manage onsite IT contractor resources to ensure alignments with the contract and SLA expectations
Ensure effective IT change management processes are in place for any new IT infrastructure or system changes at the site and regional levels
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization
Understand technological trends in IT/OT and use this to propose solutions to business
Coordinate communication with all areas of the business that impact the IT project processes, budgets, site risk assessments
