Seeking a hands-on, multi-disciplined IT Manager in the manufacturing industry.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• B Sc. Computer Science, B. Com Degree, or equivalent tertiary qualification
• 5 years IT Management and related experience

Skills:

• Microsoft Active Directory on Server 2008/2012.
• SQL Query language and administration of databases.
• Local and Wide Area networking.
• Virtual Computing - VM Ware and Hyper-V.
•  PeopleSoft (JD Edwards) ERP system
• Oracle 10g RDBMS system
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing

Job description:

• administration of all IT systems, support functions, related IT infrastructure and IT expenditure.
•  Manage LAN/WAN network architecture and technology.
• Overview management of main business system hardware and software, management of IT staff, and advancement of any IT projects.
• Implement best practices and adhere to company policy.
• Recommend and implement an IT Strategy to ensure the company’s IT investment continues to meet the company’s business requirements.
