Seeking a hands-on, multi-disciplined IT Manager in the manufacturing industry.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

B Sc. Computer Science, B. Com Degree, or equivalent tertiary qualification
5 years IT Management and related experience

Skills:

Microsoft Active Directory on Server 2008/2012.
SQL Query language and administration of databases.
Local and Wide Area networking.
Virtual Computing - VM Ware and Hyper-V.
PeopleSoft (JD Edwards) ERP system
Oracle 10g RDBMS system
Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing

Job description:

administration of all IT systems, support functions, related IT infrastructure and IT expenditure.
Manage LAN/WAN network architecture and technology.
Overview management of main business system hardware and software, management of IT staff, and advancement of any IT projects.
Implement best practices and adhere to company policy.
Recommend and implement an IT Strategy to ensure the company’s IT investment continues to meet the company’s business requirements.
