POSITION INFO:

Our client in the automotive industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an experienced IT Manager.

Â

Main purpose of the position:

The goal of this position is the operation, management and maintenance of GTS IT services, systems and solutions, based on defined ITIL processes for controlling and compliance of SLAs/OLAs with internal and external customers.

Requirements:

Formal Qualification in Information Technology
Extensive experience as specialist within IT functions
Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written in English)
Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels in the organisation
SAP experience

Â

Responsibilities:

General IT technical contact for South Africa
Technical contact for IT equipment deliveries, suppliers of IT equipment and services
Organisation of IT ordering and investment procedures, tracking and cost controlling
Coordination and escalation of supplier on-site activities
Direct contact with GTS Manager Region
Participation in regional GTS meetings ensuring information exchange with region
Project support for IT technical projects
Responsible for IT budget transparency
Prepare IT technical cost figures for budget planning
