POSITION INFO:

Our client in the automotive industry, based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an experienced IT Manager.

Main purpose of the position:

• The goal of this position is the operation, management and maintenance of GTS IT services, systems and solutions, based on defined ITIL processes for controlling and compliance of SLAs/OLAs with internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• Formal Qualification in Information Technology
• Extensive experience as specialist within IT functions
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written in English)
• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels in the organisation
• SAP experience

Responsibilities:

• General IT technical contact for South Africa
• Technical contact for IT equipment deliveries, suppliers of IT equipment and services
• Organisation of IT ordering and investment procedures, tracking and cost controlling
• Coordination and escalation of supplier on-site activities
• Direct contact with GTS Manager Region
• Participation in regional GTS meetings ensuring information exchange with region
• Project support for IT technical projects
• Responsible for IT budget transparency
• Prepare IT technical cost figures for budget planning
