IT Operations - Project Manager

SUMMARY:
This large international organisation requires the expertise of an IT Project Manager to coordinate projects within the region. A degree or relevant experience of at least 3 years combined with certifications is ideal. Knowledge or certification of project management methods PMI or Prince 2.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years experience in a similar role.
University degree or equivalent experience.
Strong communicative & collaborative skills
Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must and a second language preferred
Technology certifications are a plus
Technical knowledge in the infrastructure area is a plus
Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
PowerBI is a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
A key role in delivering a high-quality IT infrastructure to the region, this position will report to the Regional IT Manager for Middle East & Africa.
A high-quality IT infrastructure is essential to stay competitive in an increasingly interconnected world.   This position will enable the business to operate to its full potential. 
Ensure the company is able to deliver this in the region.
The Project Manager will coordinate smaller initiatives and projects and that will support the strategic projects in the region.
The projects are in the area of IT Infrastructure services:
·         Network
·         Server Hosting & Cloud
·         IAM
·         Unified Communications
·         End User computing
·         ERP migration (SAP)
Some high-level technical knowledge in these areas is an advantage.
Together with the Senior Managers, look into ways to run projects more efficiently by reviewing and improving processes & tools.
