IT Procurement Team Leader Sandton

Our client seeks an IT Procurement Team Leader with solid IT Procurement of products (hardware, software, security) services, etc. Must have team leader experience. Must have International IT procurement experience.

Salary: Market-Related – depends on experience.

Position Type: 5-month Fix Term Contract.

Requirements Profile:

Grade 12 with BCom Degree in or studying towards procurement-related qualification/s

2+ years experience as a Supervisor

2+ years’ experience with invoice processing / Budget administration

5+ years procurement of IT Procurement of products (hardware, software, security) services, etc

International Procurement experience

IT commodity procurement at the Operational level

System Skills: MS Office & MS Visio

Key Duties:

Maintaining entries associated with all purchases made throughout the department across various budgeting spreadsheets.

Processing the department invoice entries using electronic payments to ensure suppliers are paid within contractually agreed terms.

Liaising with the finance department to resolve any invoice queries.

Assisting with requests relating to spending approval and the procurement of goods and services.

Acting as the primary point of contact for the sourcing of quotations for goods and services.

Placing orders with suppliers as required.

Maintaining documentation and processes relating to the firm's mobile devices and other IT infrastructure and assets.

Assisting Technology Managers from all global offices with requests relating to spending approval and the procurement of goods and services.

Acting as the primary point of contact for the sourcing of quotations for goods and services.

Placing orders with suppliers

Maintaining documentation and processes relating to the firm's mobile devices and other IT infrastructure and assets.

Contracts Database - Keeping the Contracts Database updated and assisting with reporting on expiring contracts.
