SUMMARY:
IT Project Manager Specification
The incumbent, IT Project Manager's responsibility will encapsulate plan, execute, and oversee information technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet project objectives. This involves managing various aspects like defining project goals, determining system requirements, creating schedules, and building budgets. Will lead and guide project teams, and act as a point of contact for clients or stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Defining project scope, objectives, and requirements.
Resource Allocation: Identifying and allocating necessary resources, including personnel, budgets, and technology.
Project Execution: Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects stay on track.
Team Management: Leading, motivating, and guiding project teams.
Stakeholder Communication: Keeping stakeholders informed about project progress and addressing any issues.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring projects meet defined quality standards and requirements.
Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks.
Change Management: Managing changes to project scope, timelines, or budget.
Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills:

Technical Expertise: Understanding of IT systems, technologies, and methodologies.
Project Management Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile, Candy, Waterfall, or other project management frameworks.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Time Management Skills: Ability to manage project timelines and deadlines.
Budgeting Skills: Ability to manage project budgets and track expenses

Qualifications.
A bachelor's degree in a related field like Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline, 3-5 years’ experience in Construction in areas like business analysis and systems analysis. or a similar role is also a common requirement.
Specific skills and certifications.
Six Sigma, Business Analysis (FTI), or Agile methodologies, Candy, can be advantageous.
