IT Project Manager required for a Global Manufacturing company based in Glasgow, on an initial 4-month contract
POSITION INFO:
IT Project Manager required for a Global Manufacturing company based in Glasgow, on an initial 4-month contract. This contract will be inside IR35, with a max day rate of £400 and it will be a fully remote position.
The company:
They are a global manufacturing company with roughly 5,000 employees. They have offices around the world and are established across 6 continents. They manufacture large-scale, industrial sized products and are market leaders in their niche field.
You will be involved in a major project across the business to provide project and change management services for the IT projects including the integration of acquired businesses. You will need to ensure tight controls are maintained through all aspects of the project lifecycle and also include the generation of project documentation.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong Project Management background, with a proven track record of overseeing a number of different large scale infrastructure projects. On top of this, good knowledge on a wide range of technologies such as active directory, networking infrastructure, and Unified Communication services are a must!
You will need to:
** Have experience delivering a range of Infrastructure projects
** Be experienced in MS Projects
** Knowledge on a range of network hardware, such as Router, Switches, WAN/LAN
** Have experience with large projects encompassing multiple sites
** Knowledge of updating and implementing Hyper-V, Dell Architecture, SSCM, Firewalls, and a range of telephony and video calling systems
