POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a young, dynamic Systems & Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE SQL Scripting experience and application/software support. Exposure to Software Development would be highly advantageous.

Primary responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain the efficiency of our applications.
Experience in providing application support in a fast-paced environment.
Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
Monitoring and completion of all DBA-related Service-desk calls.
Provide debugging assistance to development staff.
Troubleshoot and resolve server, database, and data issues.
Administer Microsoft SQL Server database environments.
Security maintenance of server and database.
Maintenance and monitoring of SQL environment.
Setup & training new customers on the various systems.
End-user desktop support (Setup & Troubleshooting).
Maintaining customer backups.
Support Line-Of-Business (LOB) applications & on-call support.
Monitor the network and maintain logs as per requirement.
Managing support requests on the service desk within SLA.

Requirements:

Matric and MCSE certification.
Minimum 3 years experience in application support.
SQL Scripting and SSRS experience.
Database security & backup and recovery experience advantageous.
