IT Sales Business Development Specialist (12 Month Contract)

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Sales Business Development Specialist to join a dynamic Data Center Sales team. We're seeking a driven and results-oriented professional with a strong mix of consultative sales, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational abilities, a passion for technology, and a proven track record in identifying and converting sales opportunities.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage with potential customers
• Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
• Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients
• Monitor industry trends to uncover new sales opportunities
• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Generate leads, including cold calling
• Research market and competitive landscape
• Promote and sell ICT products and services
• Stay updated on product offerings, including Microsoft and Veeam
• Provide updates to customers on new products and solutions

• Matric / Grade 12
• Experience in ICT sales (preferably in the data center or infrastructure space) - 2 years minimum
• Strong hunter mindset and sales-driven approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer engagement abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Own reliable transport is essential
• A solid understanding of the IT industry and current technology trends
