IT Security Engineer required to join well renowned global company based within the Aberdeen area.
This role is a 3 month contract, has been determined to be outside IR35, offering a day rate of £460-£480 and will require occasional office visits but will predominately consist of remote working.
This role will see you working closely with the Information Security Manager on a number of key security related take as well as require you to complete and internal investigation. On top of this you will also be expected to conduct threat modelling exercises on any new applications and services, as well as any ad-hoc projects currently in progress.
For this role you will have a strong IT infrastructure background and will have worked in a similar role for a number of years. You will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of protect, detect and respond principles, as well as have cloud security experience with either Office 365 or Azure. You will also have excellent communications skills and be able to comfortably work with a number of key stakeholders.
Key Skills and Experiences:
** Strong understanding of security infrastructure, such as Firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
** Solid cloud security experience (Azure or O365)
** Hands on experience with any vulnerability management tools
** Good organisation skills
** Ability to work closely with stakeholders and any third party suppliers
