SUMMARY:
Our client in the insurance sector requires an IT Security Programme Manager/Snr IT Security Project Manager for a 12 months contract.

POSITION INFO:
The main skillset and experience are:

Understanding of Technology and integration
Experience in managing IT Security programmes and projects (critical)
Agile capabilities
Ability to operate a large Programme delivery across multiple workstreams, including change management, through design, build, implementation, and closure.
Oversight and management of the programme design and structure in consultation with the Programme Lead, including identification and assignment of work-packages, governance structures, and high-level roles and responsibilities, optimising these as required.
Schedule management, including the management of fairly complex dependencies between workstreams.
Identification and management of programme risks, including prioritisation and mitigation.
Programme financial management, including annual budget setting, tracking and projections and cost control. Oversight of the cost centre, including payments, reconciliation, monthly accruals and capex/opex splits.
Management of the team of Project Managers, optimising the structure and roles going forward as required.
Oversight and management of the broader project team, including internal programme communications, and resource and vendor management.
Oversight and management of progress reporting to the Board, the Executive, and externally, as required, and to the Steering Committee and other governance structures on a regular basis.
Oversight and management of Project artifacts and records
