IT Service Lead

SUMMARY:
IT Services Lead – Devil’s Peak / Signal Hill Products
 
Region: Cape Town - Western Cape
Reporting to: GM Support Services
 
Signal Hill Products is looking for an exciting, dynamic and ambitious individual to join the Support Services
Department at our leading Cape Town based craft brewery in Epping.
 
The ideal person is self-motivated and organised, has a positive attitude and the drive to add value to the business. You need to be a multi-skilled team player, that is flexible and happy to adapt to a continuously changing environment.
 
The IT Services Lead will form part of the Support Services Department reporting directly into the GM Support Services and work with staff across the entire business and will have the following duties but not limited to:
 
Providing Desktop Support:

• Management of desktop support provider
• Device Procurement and monitoring
• Laptop and desktop set-up and maintenance
• Maintains records of hardware and software inventory
• Insurance Policy Updates for IT Equipment
• License Management
• Office 365 User Setup / Email Group Configurations
• Printer Administration
• Onedrive Setup
• Provides IT support, training, and orientation for new technology users
• Offers troubleshooting, support, and repair when IT equipment or networks malfunction and demonstrates great customer service skills
• Assists with maintaining information security through controlled hardware or software installation
• Advances knowledge of current technology and support solution

• Management of network provider
• Network monitoring
• Additions of network points
• Telephone additions and configuration of extensions

• Management of Security Service Provider
• Configuration of Access Control

• Written and Verbal Communication and interaction skills with people on all levels in the organization.
• Knowledge of Computers and Networks
• Knowledge of Software and Hardware
• Decision Making, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking
• Attention to detail

• Formal tertiary qualifications, preferably Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a Related Field Computer Science, Computing or Engineering

• At least 1-2 years work experience providing IT support services – preferably in the manufacturing industry or newly qualified Computer Engineering or Comp Science graduate
