A client is looking for a skilled and solutions-driven IT Systems Engineer to join their dynamic technology team. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
Manage and maintain Microsoft and Linux servers and applications.
Administer LAN infrastructure, including switches and firewalls.
Oversee WAN links and liaise with WAN partners; monitor usage and optimise connectivity.
Implement and manage information security systems, including endpoint protection and antivirus solutions.
Manage VoIP devices and PABX systems.
Maintain and update IT governance and compliance processes, following ITIL standards, with accurate documentation (network diagrams, process flows, etc.).
Provide technical input during the design and transition of IT systems through the project lifecycle.
Take full ownership of IT incident management processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

MCP, MCSE or MCITP
A+ and N+
CCNA certification
ITIL certification
Matric Certificate

Required Experience:

3–5 years of experience in IT system administration
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365
Solid networking skills (routing, VLANs, QoS, and firewalls)
Strong knowledge of information security (endpoint protection, IPS, etc.)
Deep understanding of IT operations and best practices
