IT Systems Engineer

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems to ensure performance, reliability, and security.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft and Linux servers and applications.
• Administer LAN infrastructure, including switches and firewalls.
• Oversee WAN links and liaise with WAN partners; monitor usage and optimise connectivity.
• Implement and manage information security systems, including endpoint protection and antivirus solutions.
• Manage VoIP devices and PABX systems.
• Maintain and update IT governance and compliance processes, following ITIL standards, with accurate documentation (network diagrams, process flows, etc.).
• Provide technical input during the design and transition of IT systems through the project lifecycle.
• Take full ownership of IT incident management processes.

• MCP, MCSE or MCITP
• A+ and N+
• CCNA certification
• ITIL certification
• Matric Certificate

• 3–5 years of experience in IT system administration
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365
• Solid networking skills (routing, VLANs, QoS, and firewalls)
• Strong knowledge of information security (endpoint protection, IPS, etc.)
• Deep understanding of IT operations and best practices
