JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for an IT Systems Engineer has become available for our client based in healthcare transformation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Systems engineers are primarily responsible for operating systems, business applications and supporting system applications (such as monitoring tools).

Purpose of The Role:

o monitor and maintain all IT systems within the group.
upport the operations manager in maintaining availability, efficiency and
stability of all production services, production systems and processes to run
reliably and efficiently.
upport, track and resolve system related incidents and requests within SLA.

Knowledge and Skills

orking knowledge of Linux/Unix OS with command line skills - optional
pplication server configuration and support: JBOSS, Tomcat.
xperience in troubleshooting and resolving complex system problems through
troubleshooting and log file analysis.
xperience in monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
bility to automate repetitive tasks through scripting.
unctional knowledge of network protocols and connectivity troubleshooting
nowledge of VMware and Nutanix technologies
unctional knowledge of enterprise storage
nowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options
nowledge of basic Business Process Management

Qualifications and Experience:

CITP, MCSE, N+ advantageous.
-SQL query writing experience.
dministrative webserver experience: IS, Apache and tomcat.
- 5 years systems support experience
- 6 years IT support experience
