SUMMARY:
Nelspruit Area – Mpumalanga: Our client is looking for an IT Technician to join the team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the sites IT Infrastructure.
POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 3 – 5 Years Relevant Experience
- CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+
- Microsoft MCSA/MCSE
- Additional Networking Certifications would be advantageous
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS - Configuring, Troubleshooting and Maintaining the IT Infrastructure (Serves, Switches, Firewalls etc)
- Configure, Troubleshoot and Maintain End User Devices (Desktop, Laptops, Mobiles etc)
- Managing Office 365 Users
- Keep Infrastructure Documentation up to date (Asset Registers, Network Diagram etc)
- Ensure Backups are Adequate and Running as per Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Comply with Company Policies and Procedures
- Good Communication to Stakeholders.
- Ensure Secure Best Practices and Access Control are followed.
- Ensure Tickets are Prioritized/Escalated Efficiently and Closed within Scope.
- Manage 3rd Party Installations.
- Off Season Task may vary from above
- Updates om Project/Task Management Platforms are done.
- End User Cyber Security Awareness Training
- Procure Stock Needed for Projects and Tasks.
- On-site accommodation is a requirement for this role. The successful candidate will be expected to reside on the premises and be available to respond to operational needs as required
