IT Technical Support Specialist

POSITION INFO:

Location: V&A Waterfront – Currently remote

Salary: Market Related

Shift: 13h00 to 01h00Peak Hours – Mon – Thurs 14h00 to 21h00 / Sat: 16h00 to 21h00 (Clients in following Time Zone: US Mountain Standard time)

An international BPO situated in Cape Town is looking to grow their IT department, looking to assist clients in North America with Technical Support.

• Scope: Technical Support Specialists to work with customers to facilitate new implementations, troubleshoot issues with existing setups, and work with the customers to ensure they are getting the most from the products.  This is not a typical Helpdesk position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Prior experience in the Saas industry

·       Prior consultant experience in assisting customers to utilize software effectively

·       Knowledge of Max OS workstations and server environments

·       Command prompt and terminal command knowledge

·       Medical office experience working with PM/EMR/HER software on a day-to-day basis

·       Prior case/account leadership

SKILLS REQUIRED

·       Have at least 2+ years’ experience in the field of technology with additional client service experience

·       Proficient and experienced in Windows workstation and server environments

·       Strong communicator and social skills

·       Familiar with one or more database types

·       Able to troubleshoot, test, report, document, install and train on software

·       Strong English written and verbal communication skills
