POSITION INFO:
Join a well-established insurance business where technology plays a critical role in delivering excellent client service. This is a fully in-office role, giving you the opportunity to work closely with senior IT staff and learn directly on the job. You’ll support day-to-day technical operations, ensuring that desktops, networks, and systems run smoothly.

This position is ideal for a junior professional who wants to develop skills in IT support, system troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance while being part of a company that values growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, printers, and related IT equipment.
Assist with user account setups, password resets, and access control.
Perform basic troubleshooting on networks and connectivity issues.
Log, track, and resolve IT support tickets efficiently.
Escalate complex issues to senior technicians when necessary.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: Minimum A+ and N+ certifications (non-negotiable).
Experience: 6 months – 1 year in IT support/helpdesk (internship or practical experience acceptable).
Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting ability across hardware and software
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, and Wi-Fi)
- Good communication and customer service skills
Other: Must be fully office-based in Johannesburg.
