JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Retail Sector is looking to employ an IT Technician to join their dynamic team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Remote and on-site support:

Offer first line and second line remote support
On-site support when necessary
Installation of POS and systems
Maintenance and management of IT systems, such as, but not limited to: Telephones, internet, digital media
Manage 3rd party support calls logged with service provide

Hardware and Software:

Manage and maintenance current software deployed at the company, such as, but not limited to:

o Microsoft OS
o Microsoft 365 products
o Pastel Evolution
o Third Party Services and Software

Infrastructure:

Configure and maintain IT infrastructure, such as, but not limited to: Telecoms, Internet access, digital media, time and attendance
Provide/implement solutions that benefit the company
Design and implement internal network infrastructure (LAN)

Maintenance:

Regular store visits to carry out maintenance and audits
Cable management
On-site support
Manage service providers and their respective services

Training:

Provide necessary training on IT systems
Produce and maintain IT systems training material

Housekeeping:

Maintain cleanliness in office.

General:

Any reasonable tasks assigned by Systems Administrator including and not limited to the above.

Job Requirements:

Matric Certificate
Minimum 3 Years IT experience
A+ and N+ certification
Valid Driver’s License – Code 8 unendorsed (Essential)
Willingness to travel

Advantageous Skills:

Good communication skills
MCSE/ MCITP
Active Directory and Microsoft Server Experience
VMware and Hyper V experience
