IT Vendor Contract Manager

SUMMARY:
Datacentrix in Western Cape is looking for anIT Vendor Contract Manager responsible for the administrative operations of the department and will be directly responsible for contract management/renewals, Vendor billing processing, Vendor installation services processing, and Vendor rebates processing.

POSITION INFO:

Required qualification and experience:

• Matric or Grade 12 and Degree/Diploma
• Must have 5 years experience in vendor contract management and vendors alike:
• Experience with HPE, VMware essential
• Experience working on Vendor tools/portals
• Understanding of RFQ and tender processes
• Good understanding of contracts, purchase orders and billings
• ITIL Awareness an advantage

The Contract Manager will be responsible for:

• Vendor Contract Management and renewals:
• Attend to various vendor contract renewals
• Timely provision of renewal quotes to account managers
• Timely processing of customer renewals
• Accuracy of customer renewal opportunities at all times:
• Ensuring all required devices/components are detailed on renewals
• Advise customers and account managers on best-suited options to meet requirements
• Ensuring Win-Win outcomes in customer renewals that might require renegotiation
• Vendor rebates processing

•  Contract Management
• Ensure understanding of deliverables as per contract
• Disseminate information to stakeholders
• Ensure the service desk understand services covered by the customer contract
• Timeous completion of monthly reporting
• Accuracy of data is of critical importance
