Implementation Consultant (Technology) - Century City

My client is an unique international technology hub with expertise in Digital, Performance and Innovation, is looking to employ a Technical Implememtation Consultant to join their team.

They are focused on customer success, driving maximum business performance. Leveraging on partnerships with key technology providers and a rich set of methodologies blending functional and technological excellence.

Background

As an Implementation Consultant you would be asked to work on new and existing projects, ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of specific solutions.

Consultants are required to be organised and efficient, often balancing multiple client assignments at once. The highest level of client service is also required as the consultant’s role is to resolve client needs and collaborate with teammates and partners to exceed client expectations and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analysing clients'' needs & system requirements

• Participating in technical workshops with clients when required

• Devising creative solutions within system constraints for client needs – looking at both technical and business-level problem solving

• Configuring and customising the solution to fit the clients needs / requirements defined /scoped above – writing code (typically Visual Basic) where necessary

• Assuming responsibility and accountability for delivering entire components of a project

• Leading day-to-day client relationships on projects and otherwise

• Working closely with consultants and developers during implementation

• Aligning with other areas of the business and leverage internal relationships to deliver for our clients

• Efficiently implementing consulting service offerings and communicate their value to the customer

• Authoring documentation related to the implementation, facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure a common understanding of both technical and business practices between Methys teams, Methys Partners and our client’s team

• Travelling to client’s offices

Requirements:

• A bachelor''s degree or higher in a business/technical field (e.g. Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Economics & Management Sciences)

• Minimum 4 years related experience

• Prior experience as a consultant in either the financial services or tech space (a combination is a plus)

• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills

• Technical proficiency in range of technologies including .NET (VB, C#, ASP.NET ), SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML

• A keen interest or background in Financial Services, Private Equity, Alternative Assets and FinTech

• Proficient in written / spoken English (other languages are a plus)

• Must be Criminal Clear

• Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area.
