Import Controller

Role:

The successful candidate will ensure that all import documentations are checked before prior before distributed. Acknowledge indents and purchased orders received. Provide shipping instructions to overseas agents as per client’s instructions. Investigate and plan the most efficient route. Report on all operations issues concerns.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric or Diploma in Logistics.
• Freight forwarding certificate or similar
• 5-8 years’ experience in Freight or shipping environment
• Planning experience
• Co-ordinate and monitoring of DAP/DDP/Project shipments
• Surrender MB/L to shipping line/NVOCC
• Receive original express HB/L
• Communicate any changes to customers.
