JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the CHEMICAL IMPORT AND DISTRIBUTION industry to recruit an IMPORT SALES LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR to be based at their offices in MORNINGSIDE, DURBAN. Up to R10 000ctc, including benefits.

OUR CLIENT IS A LARGE, INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION WHO WORK WITH BOTH LARGE MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS AND LEADING LOCAL MANUFACTURERS.

Applicants should be/have the following:

Matric.

xperience with import and distribution of products, essential.

Good knowledge of Pastel software, essential.

Sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite, including Excel.

Excellent telephone manner.

Responsibilities:

Receive electronic purchase orders.

Acknowledge receipt of orders.

Check stock levels.

Process orders.

Arrange delivery or collection of goods.

Follow up on delivery/collection status.

Communicate with customers as and when necessary.

Prepare sales reports.

General office filing.

Remuneration:

Up to R10 000ctc, including benefits.

Medical aid is optional.

Pension is mandatory after 6 months of employment.

Please note:

Shortlisted applicants who are invited for an interview, will be asked to complete a test on Pastel.

There is a 3-month probationary period during which no leave will be accumulated.

Hours of work are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm with 1-hour lunch taken from 12.30 to 01.30 each day.

Leave is 15 days per completed year, taken during the December/January shutdown.
