SUMMARY:
Seeking an Imports Coordinator in Montague Gardens.

POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and highly organized Imports Coordinator to join a dynamic team within their Supply Chain department, based in Montague Gardens.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Managing the full import process from order confirmation to final delivery
Coordinating with freight agents, transporters, and warehouses to ensure timely and accurate shipments
Preparing and submitting import documentation for customs clearance
Monitoring shipments via shipping platforms and staying informed of port conditions
Managing purchase orders, buying, and costings for imports
Ensuring customs and SARS compliance, including audit readiness
Liaising with internal departments for shipping samples and costings

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

Matric (Grade 12) and a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Imports, Exports, or Logistics
4–6 years of solid experience in forwarding, customs, logistics, or warehousing
Strong knowledge of incoterms, import procedures, and customs compliance
High proficiency in Excel and strong numerical accuracy
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
A proactive, service-driven approach with strong attention to detail
This role requires a high level of independence, time management, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
