A reputable clearing and forwarding client based in Durban requires a skilled Imports Sea Freight Forwarding Controller to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Full Forwarding function from A - Z
Groupage
Estimates
Discussion on negotiating freight rates
Registration of New Shipments received from Clients
Freight invoices are paid and invoice out
Compare and check Rate of exchange being used and paid to carriers.
Ensuring documents are correct and correspond.
Compile import Estimates
Providing clients with daily updates of their shipments
Booking cargo and provide clients with sailing dates
Able to process forwarding manifests.
Handle Groupage and handover shipments.
Update ETA’s and track shipments online .
Checking of the various registers and ensuring these are updated.
