Job & Company Description:
Seeking candidates with an LLB and who has experience in the mining sector to join a Mining Company. This company has a divers portfolio, with mine operations in the opencast as well as underground. The preferred candidate will draft and settle all contracts and Service Level Agreements “SLA’s”. You will be responsible for all contract renewals, review SLA’s and manage litigation matters – including community disputes. Kindly take note that this is a contract position for 6 months fixed term with the possibility to become permanent.
Education:
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining sector.
- Drafting of contracts.
- Draft of SLA’s.
- Contract renewals.
- SLA renewals.
- Management of litigation matters and disputes.
- Point of contact for all legal matters.
- Secretarial functions like contracts, registers, returns and CIPC.
- Must be willing to take up a 6 month contract position.
