JOB SUMMARY:
Our client who is based in Durbanville is looking for an Income Tax Administrator to join their small team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Profile
Ultimately take ownership of the Tax function
Managing workflow relating to all Tax types ( IT, PAYE, VAT, Provisional Tax)
Completion of Income Tax/ Provisional Tax Returns, Tax computations
Liaising with SARS regarding queries, objections against Tax Assessments
Attending to completion of SARS documents relating to various Tax type Registrations
Above-average understanding of Efiling and Easyfile

Bank reconciliation to Trial Balance
PAYE reconciliations
VAT reconciliations
Tax computations
Submission of Provisional Tax Returns
Liaison with Clients

Any administrative tasks as required in order to provide comprehensive support to MD

Minimum Requirements
Qualification in Accounting or part there of
Sound experience having worked within an Accounting/Tax context
Fundamental understanding of the principles of Accounting
Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Good presentation skills
Good PC skills
Excel/OMNI (Training will be provided on OMNI)
Able to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Sound organisational ability
Ability to use initiative, be proactive, and have problem-solving skills
Able to adhere to strict timelines
