Exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer with extensive experience working in a Systems Integration Company. Cape Town - R80K.

POSITION INFO:

Senior Control Systems Engineer / Automation Engineer / required to join a dynamic industrial automation solutions provider. You will work with a team of experienced and skilled automation engineers. We are looking for an engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in designing and implementing industrial automation solutions.

Required skills & knowledge:

• Expertise in Schneider Electric control systems.

• Expertise in Aveva solutions.

• Expertise in Siemens control systems.

• Expertise in Rockwell Automation control systems.

• Expertise in Inductive Automation solutions.

• Expertise in SQL, MS Windows & MS Server.

• Expertise with Ethernet network configurations.

• Expertise in the following industries; Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater, Warehousing & Distribution.

Additional requirements:

• Tertiary engineering education.

• 10 Years experience in designing and implementing industrial automation and process control solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and client facing abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.

• Willingness to work extended hours when required.

• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.

• You have meticulous attention to detail.

• A valid driver’s license.

• A valid passport.

• Legal eligibility to work in South Africa is required.
