JOB DESCRIPTION:

6 Month Contract (to 1 year) - Pretoria

Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement projects identification, prioritization and selection
Monitoring projects progress and reporting on the projects
Drive excellence culture by facilitate continuous improvement workshops
Design robust control plans and ensure bottom line gains are sustainable
Drive continuous improvement across the service offering by using lean principles and methodologies
Complete reports & presentation accurately and timeously
Data analysis, ability to identify value adding opportunities and eliminating waste, working independently and across all function teams
Problem solving and analytically competent
Start new production (from Concept phase to series, including production line setup)

Key activities:

Develop Time Studies for this area
Line Balancing, balance workload across operators
Set Daily Targets based on Time Studies
Introduce Visual Management
Develop layout for area using AutoCAD
Develop Work Flow
Conducted Production Study for the activities that are not repetitive
Capacity Studies and Modeling for future changes
Process Optimization
Line Balancing
Develop Time Studies for this area
Define daily/ hourly Targets for each different product
Racking and Labeling
Develop Work Flow
Conducted Production Study for the activities that are not repetitive
Downtime and Break down studies
OEE Calculations
Revise data capturing sheets
Constraint management

Requirements:

National Diploma/B-Tech/Degree Industrial Engineering
Project/Process Engineering experience
3 Years HVAC manufacturing experience
