Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over 12 months.

Position: Industrial Engineering Support Admin

Stipend: R10,000.00 pm

Location: Dundee (KZN)

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

• Assist with time studies
• Assist with layouts
• Differentiate types of waste
• Assist with line balancing
• Assist in the debottlenecking process
• Manage self to improve personal effectiveness
• Exhibit a professional manner and appearance
• Ensure behavior that leads to effective performance is identified and developed
• Develop an understanding of own contribution to business efficiency
• Clarify own job requirements and performance standards with Business Manager
• Identify and communicate training and development needs
• Identify additional responsibilities which could be undertaken as a result of new knowledge and skills after training and development courses
• Exhibit the ability to operate well under pressure and with minimal supervision

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
• Must not have participated on the programme before.
• A complete diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering
• Be Technically inclined
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.)
• Excellent time management
• Good administrative skills with special attention to detail
• Must be medically fit
• Applicants must reside in surrounding areas
